I’m a big fan of collective action, and the quote by Margaret Mead - “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has”.

Chris (Chair), the board and all the members of Blue Derby foundation, decided they had too much skin in the game to allow the strategic direction of their town to be dictated by overpriced consultants and soon to be sacked councillors (sorry Dorset).
As such they started the Blue Derby Foundation.
